The 3-step process
1. Deposit BTC via Lightning
Open SAFE Wallet → BTC tab → 'Receive Lightning'. Pay the invoice from your existing BTC wallet. Instant, ~1 sat fee, no public on-chain link between your wallet and ours.
2. Swap BTC → USDL
Inside SAFE Wallet use LOVE Flow DEX. 0.5% fee (Premium 0.25%). USDL is our USD-pegged stablecoin (1:1). No KYC, no geo-block, no chain analysis.
3. (Optional) USDL → USDC on-chain
If you really need USDC on-chain, use LOVE Bridge → Stellar / Solana / Base / Polygon. Swap USDL → USDC (Circle native) there. 0.3% bridge fee + gas. Withdraw to your self-custody address.
Why USDL first instead of USDC directly?
- USDL is 1:1 pegged to USD — same function as USDC, but internal to LOVE Flow DEX.
- Stays inside our platform → no KYC needed, no geo-block, no chain analysis.
- You can swap it to LOVE, EURL anytime, or bridge it out as USDC to Solana/Base/Polygon.
- Lower fees — internal swap is ~0.5%, vs. CEX deposit + KYC + 1-2% trading fee + withdrawal fee.
